The brand ECDL (European Computer Driving License) is a version of the ITQ which is run by the BCS and is a recognised IT programme of basic computer skills for end-users. Outside Europe it is known as the ICDL (International Computer Driving License). Learning the ITQ framework offers their holders the necessary basic IT knowledge for assuming an active role in e-Society and the workplace.
